Meet the Team: Nimo Rijhwani, Vice President of Platform Sales

As a natural connector with an appreciation for individuality, Nimo thrives on building meaningful relationships to drive growth and innovation. He brings an engaging approach to his role as Vice President of Platform Sales, focusing on understanding clients’ needs and uncovering the best path forward together.

With a career built on a passion for collaboration and shared progress, Nimo combines his expertise in finance, asset management, and sales with a genuine enthusiasm for creating lasting partnerships. Having raised over $4 billion in his career, this philosophy has been central to his success.

Nimo earned a reputation for his ability to forge meaningful connections within the asset management space early in his over 20-year career. “Sales is all about building relationships. It’s about working with people, learning from others, and growing together,” Nimo said.

Ever ambitious, Nimo completed his BBA in finance and marketing at Niagara University ahead of schedule and eagerly jumped into his first role at Merrill Lynch. He honed his skills in asset management sales and later held roles at companies including JP Morgan, The Hartford, Broadridge Advisor Solutions, and iM Global.

When Nimo was faced with two job offers prior to joining Raistone, his decision was guided by his continued commitment to learning. During the interview process, Nimo connected with CEO Dave Skirzenski and Global Head of Risk Distribution Qing Fan, and an opportunity emerged with Raistone Platform Services (RPS).

Through further conversations with the team, Nimo realized that this new role offered the chance to grow and explore an area of the industry he was eager to dive into. He was drawn to Raistone’s approach to working capital finance and the opportunity to work on solving complex challenges in the industry.

Nimo knew Raistone’s offer aligned with his goals and passions, and ultimately, he made the decision to join the team. “I didn’t know much about trade finance, but I knew I could build relationships and bring my experience in SaaS for asset managers to the table,” he said.

At Raistone, Nimo focuses on expanding the company’s platform offerings, particularly through RPS, which provides asset managers with access to working capital finance. “We’re solving a problem that hasn’t gotten enough attention,” Nimo explained. “Working capital finance gives asset managers access to an asset class that has steady returns, diversification, low volatility, and provides alpha. Raistone’s comprehensive solution addresses this, and that’s what excites me most.”

Another aspect Nimo appreciates about working at Raistone is the company’s supportive and collaborative culture. “People go out of their way to help one another, which creates a positive, empowering work environment,” he said.

Outside of work, Nimo is passionate about traveling and exploring new cities. Having lived in Switzerland during high school and visited many countries across Asia and Europe, Nimo has a deep appreciation for learning about different people and cultures. This makes his home of Las Vegas a perfect fit, with an endless array of activities to try, cuisines to taste, and people to meet.

A true sports fan, Nimo never misses a chance to attend a college football game. He’s also a regular at Allegiant Stadium for both concerts and sporting events. Nimo leads an active life, which includes daily trips to the gym, with the goal of maintaining his focus on both physical and personal growth.
