Meet the Team: David Huber, National Sales Director

David leads the Raistone Accounts Receivable Finance (ARF) Sales team, where he and his team help bring receivables financing programs to businesses looking to take control of their cash flow.

As National Sales Director, David manages relationships with prospects and current clients interested in an Accounts Receivable Finance program.

“Along with the rest of my team, I oversee the first touch point with a prospective client, guide and educate them on our products, and help them navigate relationships with existing lenders, all with the goal of establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships for hopefully many years to come, as they continue to utilize our solutions,” he says.

With over 12 years of experience in the trade finance and financial service industry, David began his career as an intern in the trade finance industry. He later transitioned into a full-time role at a commercial finance firm while pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Looking to take the next step in his career, David joined the team in 2018. “The role was everything I had been working towards in my career, and it was exciting to be able to start from scratch and create the processes that are in place today,” he shares.

One of the aspects David most likes about working at Raistone is being able to present clients with more flexible and tailored programs than many other receivables finance providers.

“Raistone provides solutions for the specific business needs our clients are seeking to address, whether that be servicing just one customer or a full customer portfolio, we can tailor and mold a program that best fits their business needs to provide our clients with a true value add service in a reliable and predicable manner.”

Entering the holiday season and looking towards the next year, having a steady and predictable source of cash is extremely important, especially depending on the seasonality of the business.

“The ability to mitigate and offset commercial risk associated with customer relationships through receivables finance is critical during turbulent and uncertain times,” David shares.

“Our solutions allow our clients to service customers without interruption and take on larger projects that may have longer payments terms, which ultimately sets them apart from their competitors by offsetting these burdens to focus on the growth of the business. This increased ability to take on these projects allows businesses to finish off the year as planned and enter the new year with a strong liquidity position.”

Raistone technology is embedded within many platforms, like SAP and NetSuite, that companies are already using, making it simple for suppliers to have the choice to be paid in advance.

“Our embedded finance solution allows suppliers to continue to process their invoices without any change to the existing workflow, only now they will have the ability to take advantage of an early and reliable pay solution without having to dedicate any additional bandwidth or expenses,” shares David.

Outside of work, David enjoys fishing, going to concerts, and spending time with his wife and kids. He also volunteers for the Dream Factory of Brooklyn, the largest all-volunteer driven children’s wish-granting organization and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a voluntary health organization that empowers research, education and advocacy to take action against suicide.
